An overview of our current projects for which we need support in the form of donations.
Mperrishi, a remote Maasai community in Kenya, suffers from extreme living conditions. There is no medical care and clean water is a rare commodity.
Our project: Since 2022, the WeCare Association has been supporting the community with 20,000 liters of water per month and a school feeding program. The construction of a 200-metre-deep well will provide access to clean water for the entire community and improve living conditions in the long term.
Sustainability: A trained team will ensure the maintenance of the well, and a small water fee guarantees long-term maintenance.
Help us! With your donation you ensure clean water and future prospects for the children of Mperrishi. You can find more information here.
In 2022, we took over responsibility for an elementary school in Kitengela, which teaches 170 children from the slums of Nonkoopir. These children not only receive an education there, but in many cases also their only meal of the day.
Project goal: In order to secure the school in the long term, we are looking for our own property to avoid rent increases and secure the school’s existence.
Help us! Your donation gives the children of Kitengela a stable and secure future.

In remote Maasai villages, we work with Agnes Gitonga to carry out education and awareness-raising campaigns against female genital mutilation (FGM) and protect girls from this traumatic experience.
Project goal: To support the girls through education and raising awareness in the community. We are looking for sponsors to support us in this important cause.
Help us! Your donation will protect and empower girls in Kenya.

Teachers are key figures in the protection of children.
Following the successful pilot seminar in 2024 with four schools, the second WeCare teacher seminar will take place in Olepolos in October 2025 – this time with participants from eight schools and a first aid course with a doctor and nurse.
Under the theme “Teachers as protectors of children”, we strengthen teachers in their role as role models and confidants and promote a non-violent, safe learning environment for around 2,000 children.
Project goal: Strengthening teachers as key players in child protection through further training, education and practical training.
We are looking for supporters to help us reach even more schools and bring about lasting change.
Help us! Your donation will strengthen teachers in Kenya – and protect children from violence, exclusion and abuse.
You can find out more about child protection and education here.
There is no library in the schools we support. We are looking for solutions to provide the children with a wider selection of reading material – both digital and analog.
Project objective: To provide books and digital materials so that children can learn more.
Help us! Support our school libraries and promote access to knowledge.
Many girls in Kenya cannot go to school during their period because they cannot afford sanitary towels.
Project goal: Development of a sustainable and cost-effective solution for sanitary towels. We are working to establish a company in Kenya that can manufacture environmentally friendly products.
Help us! With your donation you support the girls and their educational opportunities.
Many children in the Maasai area have to walk long distances to school, but their footwear is often poor and/or damaged.
Project objective: To provide the children with suitable footwear to protect them from injuries caused by thorns and other dangers of the savannah.
Help us! Your donation ensures a safe school run and protects the children from injury.
