Help for long-term self-help
With its projects, the WeCare Association does not create dependencies, but sustainable income opportunities to combat hunger and poverty. This can only work through a proper transfer of knowledge between the village population, local experts and cooperation partners. For this reason, it is important to us to involve the local population in all project steps and to include them in all decisions.
Transparency
The WeCare Association is committed to transparency and guarantees that every donation is used 1:1 for the project work. Our employees work on a voluntary basis and all expenses are borne privately by the founders Susi and Robert.
Sustainability
The WeCare-Association makes every investment on the basis of positive answers to three questions:
Is the idea feasible?
Is the idea sustainable?
Does the project contribute to a better future?
Answering “YES” to all questions should ensure that investments are made in meaningful and sustainable projects. We want to integrate the local population and encourage them to use new methods and knowledge to become independent. We want to achieve a positive social impact and thus help people to help themselves in the medium to long term.
